Dear Khanafi Karimov,

Owing to close collaborations with the plant our corporate farm has sold five air-operated seed cleaning machines PSM-5 and two machines of PSM-10 series. The machines were acquired by Peasant Farm Enterprises (at present CJSC, former collective farms and state farms).

The family of PSM machines is notable for easy maintenance and service, low labour input, the compact sizes provide simplicity of installation, an opportunity to work with seed material of a wide spectrum of agricultural crops, and the most important characteristic is high degree of seeds clearing.

There is one recommendation to equip the machines with magnetic catchers which could improve degree of seeds clearing.

The estimation of air-operated seed cleaning machines (PSM).

Depending on productivity there should be at least one sorting machine of the family PSM in each farm.

And that is why:

Except for the known technical characteristics: simplicity in maintenance and operation, low labour input, high quality of a received commodity or seed material, the great value has preparation of high-quality seeds of any cultures without possible contamination at change of other culture.

Important advantage of the sorting machines PSM provides high-quality cleaning of crops mixes, for example, peas from wheat, barley and other cultures.

Owing to this advantage farms had an opportunity to increase the sown area under leguminous cultures, to sow peas with barley, peas with wheat therefore gross yield of grain will raise, as well as accumulation of nitrogen in ground and productivity of the subsequent cultures. In the current year NPS "Grain" will start performance of this program.

The Response

Air-operated Seed Separator PSM-10 made by Machinebuilding and Maintenance Plant «Kuzembetevsky RMZ» had been exploited in the eight agricultural farms of Kuzbas.

The machine is simple in service, low labour input of adjustment, compact overall dimensions, high-quality seeds cleaning of grain and other cultures from various hard-separable impurities, and also from non-germinating and low-yield seeds. All this is the important advantages of PSM-10; it is the machine of the future.

In 2003 the agriculture facilities of Shentalinsky district, the Samara region had purchased 14 machines PSM-5 manufactured by OJSC «Kuzembetevsky RMZ». Now all of them are installed on units ZAV-20 and KZS-40 and perfectly work.

For the first time we have seen this machine at the exhibition «Expo-Volga» in Samara. We were amazed with simplicity in design and technological application. Essential advantage of this machine is its low price and low power consumption. Owing to the use of these winnowing machines in the agricultural area 100 % of the seed material has been brought up to high sowing standards by November, 1st.

We want to express our gratitude to designers and manufacturers of these machines. Application of these machines removes set of problems in a question of a seed material preparation.
